SUP

Our “Board Meetings” usually take place on Wednesday nights 6:30 pm  from Money Island in Toms River, or the Bay Beach in Island Heights.  It’s all about the wind.  Check our our Facebook page for posts about meet-ups the Friday before  and scroll down to register.  We’d love you to join our group. Bring your own board for $5 or rent one from us for $20.

Paddle Board Lessons are available if you are interested in learning the basics of SUP paddling, safety, and fitness. Basic swimming skills are required for SUP lessons.

  • Rentals $20/hour without lesson.
    • $60/half day (4 hours)
    • $90/full day (8 hours)
      • Includes board drop off and pick up in Toms River, Seaside, Lavallette, Ortley area.
  • Lessons $50/hour includes paddle board rental.  Add a friend for just $25 more to share your hour lesson- because paddling is more fun with friends!
    • Group of 3 people  $30 per person
    • Groups of 4 or more $25 per person

Waivers are required for all paddlers. You can save time by printing one here.

Wednesday Paddle Meet-ups:

Casual paddle starting at 6:30 pm from Money Island Beach and returning around 8:00 pm. Bring your own board for $5 or rent one from us for $20. These are not lessons, so some experience is needed, but paddling tips will be given. Join us to meet other people who love to be out on the water and catch the sunset. 

 

 

Full Moon Paddle 6/6/20

We will meet at Money Island Beach and paddle 2 miles to Water Street Bar and Grill for some cocktails. We will then paddle back under the full moon.  Please bring flip flops, a board leash to dock at Water Street, and money for food/drinks. LED safety lights provided.   $5 per person registration fee if you have your own board/ $20 per person registration fee if you need to rent a board, and everyone must sign a waiver before we depart.  We will have a dry bag for anything you are worried about dropping in the water.  RSVP on the Facebook event, and pay via Pay Pal or Venmo.  Rentals sell out fast, so reserve yours now!  Scroll down to buy some mermaid gear for the paddle as well.

 

 

Stand Up Paddle YOGA 

Starting Sunday, June 14th  and running through Labor Day

yogaJoin us on Sunday mornings at 7am at Money Island Beach for 60 blissful minutes of yoga on paddle boards. Use our boards or bring your own. $20 per person includes all equipment. BYO Board $10.  Limited to 10 spots per class for rentals.  Ages 14 and over only. If bringing your own board, you are also responsible for your own PFD on your board and leash.

Class is weather dependent and will be confirmed or canceled by 9 pm the night before the class. Refunds will be issued if class is cancelled (or moved to the following week). You can register on Monday for the upcoming Sunday session.
We believe in using yoga as another way to connect to Christ. However, you can fully participate in this SUP Yoga no matter what your beliefs. You can read more about YogaFaith’s mission here.  We will lead you throw a gentle flow with some strength poses and ending with savasana and prayer.

There is no better start to your day than being on the water. Wear a bathing suit or workout clothes that you don’t mind getting wet. Sea Paddle Seaside

This is the first year of this local race on the bay starting by Stewarts Root Beer in Seaside Heights. On Saturday there will be a beach clean up followed by a technical (turns) race that is one mile. On Sunday the main event will be a 5 mile out and back race in the bay.
